Originally from Germany, René has been living and working in Los Angeles since 1996. He is the C.E.O. of Juri Film, Inc., which is one of the most unique full service film and television production houses in LA. In addition to building Juri Film, René has worked as Director of Photography for five feature films, numerous short films, and serves as DP and technical liaison between Juri and Paul Kampf Productions.
Rich spent the first part of his career as a news editor in Nashville, TN. He soon moved on to freelance work for Arista, Mercury, MCA, RCA, Sony, Warner Bros. and other labels cutting on everything from music videos to concert films. He also edited series for The Outdoor Channel, The Nashville Network, and Great American Country.
He moved to Los Angeles in 2005 to pursue work in the motion picture industry. He has worked as First Assistant Editor on The Tillamook Treasure, Road House 2, the Eddie Award Nominated Darfur Now, and a recent documentary about the Sherman brothers. He has cut two shorts for our Studio and brings his unique skill set to our diverse set of projects. Rich is one half of the astoundingly popular ‘Drunken Taoist’ Podcast with Daniele Bolelli. Rich has earned his bachelor’s degree in Radio/TV Productions from Middle Tennessee State University.
Chris launched his company and career as a composer, arranger, and musician based out of Chicago. Chis first worked with Paul in their theater days in Chicago, and then his talent landed him composing Paul’s first feature film. From there they’ve built a fantastic working relationship which has translated into Chris composing for four more projects, and as the composer in residence at Paul Kampf studios, he will continue to create free and paid content viewing.
Chris has build his own recording studio and is constantly writing, producing, and arranging for artists all over the country in all genres.
